Still got it

I’m glad to see that Trumpery hasn’t yet smashed Pride given the eating away of DEI even here.  Mind you this is Tottenham Court Road and Pride central in London given the march goes down Regent St I think this weekend. 

Up in the office for the day, lunch with Belinda over at Honey and Co in Lambs Conduit street where we sat on the pavement and caught up happily with a lot of laughter.  I’d bought a plate from an exhibition in Pentreath and Hall but they’d asked to keep it until the exhibition closed and then I forgot about it but they chased me to pick it up just before we went to Florida and I could say that I was having lunch opposite the shop in a few weeks time.  So it was nice to pick it up. There were some beautiful ornate golden sconces that were very tempting and highly expensive.  My little 8 inch plate will do very well for now 
Back into the office for what I thought was a zoom meeting and I was jabbing the screen trying to connect with the link when the person I was meeting walked through the door.  

When V picked me up off the train in the evening the bottom end of Lavant St was filled with police and fire engines and by the time we got home we heard that the top floor of a whole block had been burned out, including the flat above our favourite independent book shop One Tree Books.  I hope they are all alright. Fire is a terrifying thing.
