A Skipper from a Blipper?

After going through 50 pages of butterflies and moths...my guess is that this is a skipper. The only picture that was even close was that of an Arctic Skipper.

The problem? Michigan is a LONG way from anything that is associated with anything named Arctic. The Arctic Circle, the Arctic Ocean, or even the Arctic Monkeys. (An English indie band...according to Google.)

I spent my whole afternoon on the computer...trying to get ready for an upcoming trip. As usual...I am a terrible procrastinator. (And...besides that...I put things off.)

Heading to Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Virginia...leaving the first of September.

Somebody please correct me if you know what this beauty is.
