Quilted canvas at Tate Modern
Raining overnight and on my journey up to meet a friend at Tate Modern. We only went to the ‘free’ galleries today. Some rather whacky exhibits that I was not keen on but I really liked the quilted canvases by Pacita Abad. Abad was originally from the Philippines.
The extra shows another exhibit of models of plant material?! But a nice view over the Thames.
We had a lunch at Cote at St Katherine’s Dock…I had booked an outside table but was glad they had space inside today as chilly and windy plus some rain.
Back home feeling weary so watching Wimbledon on TV.
