Cranes from an upstairs back window

Cranes mean that something new is likely to appear when the cranes are gone. 

Today's weather was still wild but calmer than yesterday. My two friends, with whom I had a date today, preferred to postpone until same time next week which was fine by me. The weather permitted my going to the shopping centre and buying some urgently needed things including a present for Margot who turns three on Friday.
