Leaving Fareshare

And later leaving Oxfam (catmint in extra) . (Leaving as in heading away from).
Above is very striking I think - hemp agrimony growing on more or less waste ground by the road. A lovely morning at fareshare, I had a desk fan about a foot from my face.  And I went into the chiller room a few times more than necessary:) I believe it was the last of the terribly hot days,  here in Bristol anyway.
I got the bus straight up to Clifton, interesting that the bus which goes there has air conditioning. Very enjoyable.
Unusually for me, I did children’s books most of the time as we had NO fiction donations! And I dug into the difficult box of ‘vintage’ books which wait for someone to have time to research them. I did a pile of about 12 including several from the 19th century. A new young volunteer who is pretty tech savvy then listed them on the Oxfam online shop.  Much easier to sell there, as so many more eyes see them.
Saw the wonderful display of catmint on my way back to the bus home. So effusive, like fireworks!  The bus home was not air conditioned and I was on it for a very long time….
