Another Very Warm Day

It reached 95F/35C this afternoon. Fortunately, tomorrow will be a lot cooler, which I really appreciate for my class, which is at least partially taught outdoors.

A lot of puttering today - putting the last of the camping stuff away, watering in anticipation of the hot day, and I also tidied up the garage before doing a Pilates workout (I have a machine in my garage). I was so pleased to talk with both of my sisters today - one in Friday Harbor, Washington and the other is the sister who lives in Mexico much of the year. Delightful to catch up with both, and to start to make plans for a visit.

My courtyard garden was rather uninspiring this afternoon. The dahlia bloom that opened while I was camping got burned from the (very) hot sun, so here's a blossom!
