THERE'S ALWAYS ONE.................
If you look at the rows of Umbrellas just one has actually been turned inside out with the wind!!!!

Hubby wanted to go to Kendal this morning to do some Building Society Business and pick up some Car Paint from the Suzuki Dealership. So he left early.
I took Garron to Ulverston. Took ages to get there as there is just one very small stretch of roadworks (with no sight of anyone doing any work there) and they had traffic lights. The queue going to Ulverston was tailed back almost as far as Greenodd but from Ulverston not very much at all. Annoying when it's such a tiny stretch and no sight of anything being done, but to be fair maybe there's a safety reason and at least we weren't in any hurry today.
We eventually got there, went to Gillam's for coffee. Fairly busy for Ulverston with some tourists around. We then visited our favourites shops, Brambles, Squirrel, Paper Bunny and Jitterbug, as well as Boots and The Market. So many stalls no longer open in the market it's so sad to see it but we continue to support when we can. Where the Grange Bakery stall used to be is a new Deli stall so I bought a cheeseplatter, some sea salt specialist crackers and some homemade potato salad, just to support them of course.
Then we went to Manjushri of course, for lunch. Garron the wandered around the shop whilst I read a book finishing off my drink.
The homeward journey was much better. Still a hold up but only about 5-10 minutes so not really problem.
Now how the heck am I going to get to Barrow AFC on Monday morning by 9.30 for my Breast Cancer Now Moving Forward course!!! May have to go the long way round over the fells!!!!
Last night, whilst ln the phone to my Mum I was looking out the window and a small flock of swallows kept swooping around the house and quite close. As soon as I finished talking to Mum I grabbed my camera and went to try and take some photos. Of course they all disappeared then!!! A few did come back and I just kept clicking on the mode that takes several shots with one click. Still not the best photos in the world but there is one which I rather like as it has some detail in the wings and tail.
I Googled Swallows and this is what I got:
"Barn swallows are a specific type of swallow, with the scientific name Hirundo rustica. While often referred to simply as "swallows," the term "barn swallow" is used to distinguish this particular species from other swallows like the Tree Swallow or Cliff Swallow".
That's all for now, do take care and stay safe and I will see you all tomorrow.
