Puffins

Today we started by visiting Plèmont Bay on the north of the Island.
We found these large woven puffins (around forged steel)
The artwork aims to highlight the species
and the problems they face on the Island, as well as how Islanders can protect them. They stand at 4 meters high. They were commissioned by campaign group Birds on the Edge as well as the National Trust of Jersey.
They were really fabulous.
After that we went to the Jersey Kitchen for lunch. It was built around an old windmill. See extra.
We then headed back to the hotel and a paddle in the bay.

Thank you for all the stars, hearts and comments for my Blip anniversary yesterday. All were very much appreciated.
