Allium Seedhead
Len picked up this seedhead in the park yesterday. I thought it would make a suitable photographic project, so here you are. But to be honest, I had wanted to practice focus stacking with it. I can't set the camera up properly yet and I don't have the wherewithal to place the camera on a tripod so that it points down vertically. The camera would fall off.
Two photos were taken....
I suppose it didn't help that it was late evening by the time I got round to it. The temperature is still 27 C. I don't envisage a comfortable night.
It was feet day today. I told Len I would drive to Ashby on my own as it would be too hot for Basil to have his customary walk. Thank goodness for aircon in the car. And when I arrived in Ashby, there was something of a breeze and lots of fluffy clouds in the sky, some of which provided welcome cloud cover from time to time. The Ashby windmill was rotating hell for leather.
