Tropical

It was another tropical day. It started off fairly cool and I thought the forecast may have Been wrong but then it just got hotter and hotter. I decided to give ringing practice a miss as I couldn’t face the warm walk there and back, let alone the heat of the tower.  I get hot enough ringing even when it is a freezing cold day.

My first day back at work wasn’t too bad. Usually there is a load of catching up to do but it is never as bad out of term time.  Our main office is having a lighting revamp so they want fewer of us about to give the electrician’s freedom to work so I am going to work from home for the next couple of days. I usually prefer to be in the office but when it is this hot, home seems rather attractive as there is no horrid warm car to endure for the commute.
