My guilty pleasure

I was glad I’d managed to get some of the plates from yesterday washed last night. It meant that I only needed one more dishwashing cycle and they could be put away. I bought 60 plus plates very cheaply some years ago and am happy to use these for Rotary functions, so much nicer than paper ones.

It didn’t take too long to get the rest of the supplies put away and I got the ironing sorted into piles but didn’t get it started as it was just too hot today. I took advantage of the weather to strip beds and washing every towel in the house. They were dry in a couple of hours..

I took Phin to Newbattle in the late afternoon before reinvigorating some of the leftover turkey and spinach lasagne with some extra white sauce. Whilst it was reheating I enjoyed a pink gin with some olives in the garden.

A start on a blip catch up. Again I don’t know why I fall behind as often as I do.
