Crash Landing Imminent
Much as I wanted to join in the Mono Monday challenge again this week, I didn't find anything that I could fettle into the theme.
But I did take my Canon FD 28mm 2.8 lens for a walk. I'm not the biggest fan of this lens- in fact I am selling it- but it did take one nice shot today.
Finally, under the shade of a tree, I tried to take one of my usual shallow DOF flower pics, when this busy bee, of the bumble variety, came crashing down to land on my chosen subject.
She refused to stay for a close up, so this action shot of her about to crash land is the best I was going to get.
I went out a little earlier than my usual mid afternoon photo walk today. And remember quite quickly why I don't go out around midday in summer.
But I saw an old friend and met his lovely golden retriever, so no complaints.
Tomorrow I'll remember to go out a little later.
The extra pic is one that I just like, and almost was my blip today. It reminds me of a doting parent, looking down on its offspring. Though that might be the madness of the midday sun.
