Mega Mushrooms

Too hot for any serious walking today…so I just nipped to the woods for a few minutes in search of a blip.

This patch of Dryad’s Saddle fungus is growing fast. I had seen it a while ago when it was tiny…so wanted to check on progress.

The light was really odd - the sun shining through the leaf canopy created a really green cast and it also seemed really flat, despite there being bright sunshine (out of the woods). I have tried to correct it in Lightroom - sort of happy with the results but still looks a bit flat.

Hopefully cooling down a touch tomorrow - so there may be a walk!
