Buzzard Watch - and then there was One.

And then there was one!  The older chick has fledged.  As walked to my viewing spot, I spotted something on the ground ahead.  It was one of the buzzard chicks. You can tell it was one of them as it was walking along the path rather unsteadily.  I grabbed a quick pic (extra) but it managed to get into the air and fly off before I could get any closer.  In the nest was the younger one.  I could hear a parent calling it to fly out. It isn’t ready just yet, but was starting to flap its wings (main pic) so not long now.  I expect the next trip will see an empty nest.  Mum & Dad need to feed both for now, so they want them out to follow and learn how to hunt.  One out and one in is tough!
