Bending over backwards

 
 
Visitors to an art exhibition in Dunblane museum were in for some unexpected  entertainment – Cora, granddaughter of artist Laura Gill demonstrated some of her extreme gymnastic moves.
 

While Cora defied gravity with her bendy body ( see extra) Laura challenged the current trend in the art market with a confetti of sales.

Its not hard to see why. Laura, a self-taught artist,  (see extra) was one of the finalists  in the  Sky Arts Landscape of the Year in 2023.
She paints what she loves- the landscape of Scotland. And the awards followed.

But it was only after she retired from work as an advertising executive has she been able to devote time to her lifelong passion.
