Blooming heck, Julie’s made a cake

We swam for over half an hour in Bassenthwaite. It was great to catch up with everyone. They’ve all had holidays apart from me, I enjoyed hearing about their adventures as we swam up the lake. The lake seemed to wash away all the stresses of the week.
Julie had baked a Hugh Fearnley Whittinstall lemon drizzle cake. It was delicious. She’ll have to bake more often.
I did a food shop on the way home. I was flagging a bit by the time I’d but away the shopping and rinsed my swimming stuff out.
It’s been a perfect day here, temperatures of 24 and sunny. Toms been to the allotment. Toria dropped in to collect her Amazon delivery. I gave her a lift home as there was a bag of clean washing to take too.
She’s set up her streaming room ready to go back to work tomorrow,
