Fire And Brimstone, White Squirrels?

It was way too hot today (fire) but how lovely to see the brimstone butterflies in the garden. They are mainly attracted to the purple verbena bonariensis but are just as happy on any of the flowers in the garden.


I would have liked to share my picture of an albino squirrel, taken while walking a too hot Jak around the local roads. But sadly the picture is not the best. I believe they are quite rare but we do see them from time to time here, complete with pink eyes. It's quite a sight. Jak and I were quite excited, well I was anyway.
