Dirty Windows

A busy family day.


After breakfast, we met up with my brother, and niece and nephew at The Vyne .. a National Trust property north of Basingstoke.

We spent a good couple of hours walking around (mostly in the woods) .. and afterwards nattering over drinks and ice creams! I spotted this old window in an outbuilding..peeling paint and lots of cobwebs inside.

We then all piled back to my sister’s house (stopping on the way to buy sandwiches / snacks)..and spent the afternoon in her garden…a lot of catching up was done..

Later we all relocated to a pub in Old Basing for our dinner..a massive table of 14 of us altogether…it took a while to finish :-)

We then had a group photo outdoors…it has been years since there were so many of us all together in one place.

We took the girls to a nearby playground for them to burn off some energy before bedtime.

Playing catchup with blip…no time to post this on Saturday so I am posting this from the car on the way home on Sunday afternoon
