Mmmm...

Was up early to see Dad off as he left for the airport before 7am. Went to look around the school with Kimberley at 9.30 and received my first batch of paperwork and training work to read through and learn from. The school, although in the usual summer holiday refurbishment stage, is large and colourful and I can see it being vibrant and a happy place to work once it is filled with kids and furniture. I met a few members of staff and got a good impression from everyone. The job will come with its fair share of challenges, as with any. I continue to look forward to moving my belongings into my apartment on Thursday. I forgot to take my camera or my phone to the school, so no photograph yet!

Returned to Sabine’s at around 2:30pm and spent a few hours going through powerpoints and booklets before a well needed skype with James. Sabine came home and we cooked up this pasta with mussels and tomatoes – I am cherishing these last few days of this well cooked, imported/smuggled food. Although I love to cook, my salary + energy levels will probably never amount to tastes like this. It is now 18.40 and we intend to watch an episode of Spooks…and go to bed!
