Squirrel Again

I was amazed to see the red squirrel back again so I couldn't resist blipping it. This was taken through the window but, when it made a second visit I managed to take some shots through the open door. They were more vibrant, just not as good a pose.

The day had started well with getting a few things we needed for the lodge from our wholesaler and had a lovely lunch at the Toby Carvery. After that things weren't great. We wanted a new kettle for the lodge, a green one to suit the new kitchen. That way we would have the old one from the lodge to replace our broken one and the lodge would have a smart new one. Win - win!

I trailed around two shops with my sore knee, only to find that items shown on the websites weren't in stock in the shops. Infuriating as I won't get them changed over for another week.

To add to my disappointment, traffic was horrendous everywhere. It was so uplifting to see the squirrel when we got home. My knee is a lot better, too.
