Knapweed

My intention was to blip drifts of knapweed in the wildflower meadow that we are trying to create at the lodge but when I viewed my shots it became more about the bee, a red-tailed bumble bee, bombus lapidarius.
I had no idea that knapweed was a centaurea, a cornflower. I can see it now I look at examples.

When we got home from the lodge we were fed up with the way our microwave was behaving so we went into town and bought a new one. This time I've reverted to having one that bakes, hoping I'll use it for more than just making milk coffee. I didn't used to but I think I will now.
