Busy Bee
I'm glad its the end of the week. Its been a weird and busy week. We've had lots of meetings and appointments. Yesterday was my ex-husband's birthday (I didn't bother messaging him) and today would have been my paternal grandmother's. She would have been 95. She passed away in 2017 at the age of 86.
Little Man had nursery this morning and I had Sjanne and Marianne come round for a chat. We meet regularly to talk through different things that I'm working through.
After they left, I phoned the doctor to make an appointment in regards to the persistent and lingering cough I've had for the last few weeks. I had hoped that the cough would have cleared by now but it hasn't. Marianne strongly encouraged me to see the doctor. I strongly dislike doctors (I had a series of bad experiences as a child). However, since the cough hadn't cleared so I thought I might as well.
Once that was done, I went and collected Little Man. He had another lovely morning. Since it's Friday, I decided to let him watch a program on Netflix; he chose Paw Patrol. Its given me the chance to process this last week and the thoughts that need to be put to paper.
I popped outside for a moment and went to look at the flowers at the end of the garden. That's when I saw this bee sitting on a flower, so I took a photo. I love bees. They're endangered and a lot of people are afraid of them, mainly due to allergies to bee stings.
