Common hollyhock
…or so my phone tells me. I do t care how common they are or if I blipped one last Saturday, they’re still lovely to me.
Three major conversations today: one in person involving a person and his PIP form (lucky I did a 3- hour webinar on that very subject yesterday). The second with a GP about a person who was not present, and the third on the phone with a person who may have been in the pub: lots of background noise .
All of this was quite tiring, but the weather was hot and I got to walk around town.
Oh, and Tessa came round and cut a swathe through our garden. She is picking up a bowser from next to the fence, where it’s been sitting for the past million years. Thr garden looks better already.
My triumph was to take one bag of surplus items to a charity shop; donate a wooden box and a mini-atlas to V; and ask Tessa to take a big bag of ex-massage towels to the animal sanctuary. Fifty items out, four new wooden jigsaws in (from the Wentworth summer sale).
More fridge magnets made. It’s feeling a bit limiting now. Time to start on bigger projects.
