Converse

In one of the many lovely memories of Folkie someone wrote about her being the only lesbian at a gathering not wearing converse. Well yesterday we found her converse. It was a really emotional day being at Claire’s house and starting to sort through her things some of which held memories for me, others for her friend Mel who was with me and others whose stories we didn’t know. We reminisced and cried and laughed and that will be the way for some time to come.
