Stately as a Galleon

I was just thinking I have hardly been outside today - raining a lot this morning anyway - and we’ve been doing housework stuff, so nothing special to blip.

I was therefore happy when this photo came through from Joanne. A 17th Century Spanish Galleon arrived in Penzance harbour. The Galéon Andalucia was built in Spain with historical accuracy (it has six decks and seven sails) and sailed to Cornwall from Bordeaux. It certainly looks impressive. I think it is there for the weekend.

My extra photo is one I took yesterday - a ladybird that landed beside me on the bench. I had never seen a black ladybird before. I think it is a Harlequin Ladybird. I had the idea that they were not good for some reason, but it seems they are okay. Maybe someone could enlighten me.
