Wild Wednesday ...

... Sunflower Fractalius.

Today was another scorcher ... although not as hot as yesterday's high of 99° F.  We still reached a high of 96°F with sweat dripping humidity.  

I had an appointment before lunch that I went out for.  Unfortunately, it was a wasted trip as the salon owner was a no-show.  Frustrating to say the least.  And maddening says it all. 

When I returned I sat in the very hot sunroom trying for some wildlife shots.  There wasn't much around today ... very much the norm when it's this hot.  But, thankfully we have some lovely sunflowers in full bloom in our back garden.  

I wanted my sunflower to reflect just how scorchingly hot it was today so I played around with a new filter that Richard added to my laptop recently.  I like the effect.
