Embleton Bay

It’s been a fairly cloudy day and headed to the beautiful Embleton Bay with its golden sand, sand dunes and the remains of Dunstanburgh Castle on the hill to one end. It was fairly busy being a Saturday but we walked along the beach to the castle returning by the path at the edge of the golf course   A beautiful environment with the sounds of the sea and birds, probably meadow pippets around us.

We then drove to Craster where we ate our lunch but by now the weather was turning and we quickly returned to the car in the rain. Next stop was Beadnell where we walked along the beach. Sand Martins were flying around me in one area. The weather by now was more sunny.

After our evening meal we walked out to the harbour at seahouses and watched the sun set.

As l have issues with my laptop I am posting phone pictures for ease and the odd one that managed to get on my laptop..
