Hurrah!

We were so delighted this morning, to find a red squirrel in the garden. It was searching underneath the bird feeders and we couldn't get a shot of it.
Then, to our delight, it climbed onto the bird table and leapt onto the peanuts.

I haven't been able to blip a squirrel at home for years! They just haven't been seen in the garden. This one is a young one and I'm hoping it will remember to come back. It would be lovely to get back to the days when I could go and sit outside with the camera getting shots of them.

For today, a shot through the window will have to do. We didn't want to scare it. Blip sorted before 8.30am!

We had a nice afternoon out with The B-I-L at Larch Cottage Nurseries. It was the first time in over 16 years that I'd been to a garden centre without a camera - I hardly knew what to do!
