Peony

The beautiful peony had been knocked to the ground during a bit of bad weather.

This was another day when I had a lunch invitation as a spin-off from my Facebook page being hacked. Janet and I have known each other for over 50 years. I began my job as a lab technician at the same time as she was starting as a science teacher. In those jobs we also both got to know The Man, who taught rural science in an adjoining school.

Four of us met up in a lovely independent garden centre, Larch Cottage Nurseries and had lunch. It made a nice change not to be meeting up at colleagues' funerals!

After Janet and her husband left, The Man and I did our usual wandering around taking photos.
