Today started on a local bus heading out to the German Occupation Museum; an amazing collection of memorabilia by one man over the last 60 years. Very thought provoking and quite emotional.
We then walked down to Petit Bot Bay to pick up the coastal path back to St Peter’s Port. A stunning walk along cliff tops, up and down lots of steps, all with the turquoise sea alongside us. It’s been a very hot day so after a picturesque lunch on the cliff tops we headed down to Fermain Bay for a swim in the sea, deliciously cool! Back to the hotel, after a tough but stunning 10 miles, Guernsey has not disappointed us on our first full day.
