My Latest Model

I haven’t done much in the way of modelling since the start of the year….which got off to a bad start with the death of Mrs madwill’s brother..and we just seemed to be so busy trying to sort things out. My models got neglected.

This kit has been in my stash since December 25th…and in the last few  weeks I found the mojo to have another go.

So here we have a WWII British Army 30cwt utility truck..these were produced in their thousands and saw action all over the world. This one is Airfix 1:35 scale..15cm from fender to tailgate!!

I have painted it in 1941 desert ‘Caunter’ camouflage..and applied literal quantities of ‘grime’ and dust to mucky it up. A real restored vehicle can be seen here ..

I have another model assembled and painted..just awaiting some ‘weathering’..a future blip maybe.
