I saw this tiny island floating in the canal this afternoon near Hackney Wick, as I walked from Limehouse to Hackney to have a look around the Hackney WickED festival...the cut/paste will kindly tell you about it (so I don't have to bother again)

Suddenly, every building becomes public space, as artists open their studios, fenced-off yards transform into pop-up food markets or DJ stages, and street artists give the tired-looking warehouses another lick of spray paint."

An interesting, colourful, event full of young 'hipsters'...and one or too 'unhipster old people' like myself too.
