Wild Cherries

We had a slow morning. I was very weary, I blame the incredible heat if yesterday. Today we awoke to a grey day, the haar was in!

I pottered around the house, doing the chores I didn’t get round to yesterday. Late morning, I popped down to town to pick up a few things for lunch. TT was pottering in the garden, and decided we would have a barbecue for tea.

We had some heavy rain in the afternoon, which put out barbecue in doubt, but the rain went off, so we headed to the supermarket for provisions.

I left TT to sort stuff out, and went for a walk. I helped sort some salad stuff out when I got back. We sat out in the garden and enjoyed our tea, and enjoyed the evening warmth. Later we watched lightning over the Lammermuirs. Not long after going to bed, the heavens opened, and we had absolutely torrential rain.

I spotted these lovely looking cherries (geans) on my walk.
