It's pizza night!

Predictably enough. Oof, it was hot today. We stayed in the house as much as we could. Lunch was chilled soupe de Myriam with a slice of bread, followed by cherries chilled in the fridge. After lunch we had to go to Narbonne to meet one of the construction companies. It was even hotter there. Luckily the meeting lasted only about half an hour, and on the way home we had a quick whizz round Picard and Grand Frais. Indulged in ice cream the minute we got home.

The result of our very light lunch was that we were starving in the evening. So we ordered a pizza, and then spent the evening having a really good gossip/chat with B and J-C in the bar -- it was actually cooler in there than outside, despite lack of air conditioning.

In the midst of all this I started some sourdough.. I had to quickly shape it when I got home, later than expected, and it's now in the fridge. We shall see tomorrow ...
