Mont Blanc without a hat

A ski instructor told us years ago that when Mont Blanc has his hat on ( lenticular clouds which form over the summit) it’s going to snow. Well the absence of his hat this evening as viewed from our campsite in Chamonix, bodes well for our planned trip up the Aiguille Du Midi cable car tomorrow.
