Fish!

On the rear of Lancaster City Library, can be found this old drinking fountain, in the shape of a fish head.
It's a long time since the fish actually spewed water, certainly not in my lifetime, but it always pleases me to see it there. And to know so many people fail to even notice it.
Most of my photos today were of things that are remnants of earlier times.
The extra photo is part of a sculpture that is on the front of a café on Sun Street. Not quite as ancient as ol' Fishy, but a remnant of the business that was here in the 80s/90s. The property has had at least 3 identities since then, but fortunately the sculpture remains.
