The good, the bad and the ugly

Not the best night, I was a bit restless. Sod's law when you do nod off the flaming alarm goes.

Breakfast was hopeless. The toasting machine was so slow and not very warm. I asked for it to be turned up but I don't think the assistant knew how it actually worked. I had to put it through three times and it was still white and tepid. I couldn't eat it.

I went for a walk around the lake again, although it was a bit misty.

Had a meeting with our certification body in Milton Keynes. We've had a few problems recently and I called for a meeting where I could highlight the problems and try to work together to resolve the problems. Sadly the department responsible didn't want to be part of the discussions, despite being invited. Very disappointing. I won't give up though and have suggested doing the same presentation to them exclusively. We shall see. My presentation was titled my blip title. Lol!

Got home just before 5pm which was a decent time. I came back to a surprise thank you card and photo from my young padawan, thanking me for attending and my wedding gift.  She has her graduation on Thursday.

Hoping for a quiet night. An early start tomorrow to London.

Today I am thankful for:

1.  A good power ramble around the lake
2.  A good meeting
3.  Getting home at a decent time
4.  Receiving a thank you card from my young padawan
