Musing of a Lady

Complications

The busy week continues. Little Man had nursery this morning and I dropped him off, then biked through to Gouda. I wanted to get a few errands done, like sorting out my glasses¹, and I had an appointment this afternoon with a housing association in regards to the possibility of applying for emergency housing. If I applied, its unlikely I'd get approved due to a few complications (namely, documents that I don't have).

Little Man was collected from nursery by Jeanine, a friend from church, who lives in Driebruggen. Her youngest daughter was in Little Man's nursery for a while before she moved up to group 1 (the first year of primary school) when she turned 4 in April. I let the nursery know last night, and again this morning. He had a lovely time but was tired when I collected him. I've let him watch some Netflix this afternoon, due to the fact that tomorrow is going to be more relaxed for us.

¹I lost my prescription sunglasses last year and I tend to be light sensitive, so have really noticed a increase in low-grade headaches since the warmer weather arrived and I have had to bike more. I had only planned to walk away with new sunglasses, but decided to get my prescription checked (its changed) and then got two pairs of glasses; one set of standard glasses, and one set of sunglasses. I'll collect them next week.
