Pennington Flash

I was delivering a 121 session on photography basics (exposure triangle etc) for A, an art teacher who attended one of my group sessions a couple of years ago. She wanted a refresher as she had recently been asked to teach GCSE photography.

Pennington flash made a good venue, and by the time we’d had a good conversation over coffee the rain had stopped for our short stroll.

Today was also “the last of the firsts” as it’s a year since John’s funeral. I think I shocked the hospital receptionist when she queried my next of kin. Yes it was my husband, but I am widowed so now it needs to go back to being my mum. Hopefully she’ll ask a little more sensitively in future.
