Teeny ones
I had a very effective morning contacting contractors, repairers and deliverers this morning before I got out of bed. Satisfying to get so much completed early.
We went into Stockbridge to find a birthday present for my baby sister, she's going to be 65 on Thursday. Some baby!!!
If she reads this she'll know that part of her gift cane from Galleries Mirages and if she doesn't like it I'll be happy to take it off her hands. It's a wonderful shop, I would have loved a job as their buyer searching out beautiful things to bring back for them to sell.
My blip was taken when I was in the Independent Zebra craft shop just along the road - they'd clearly been decorated for Pride. I spotted these teeny guggle jugs which I'd not seen before.
I drive Colin home then just come time for a coffee in Mimi's (how can coffee and a scone cost over £8?) before I picked Isobel up from school and took her to her piano lesson. She worked so hard on the coordination and timing of one phrase for almost half an hour. I was so impressed that she didn't get frustrated squat she must have been tired by 6pm after her day at school, she's only 8.
After dinner, we watched the penultimate episode of The Sixth Commandment which we'd somehow missed, and are thoroughly enjoying. I then went out and picked up Colin's sister from the Aberdeen bus at 10pm. I got organised when we got back and packed up the gifts for Joyce and got the online postage done. Tomorrow morning I'll take it to the parcel shop to be picked up for delivery in Leeds.
Finally, time to relax - and it's bedtime!
