The Last Day of the Window Watchers

Our little friends Alex the Alligator, Tiny Tiger, the Little Reindeer, the Anteater, the Moose, and Little Bear love to hang out in the breezy bedroom window. They keep watch over me from there, and they also like to see the world (and deer, birds, bunnies, etc.) go by.

We had a long, cool, damp spring, and the window stayed available until today around noon, when we installed the window unit air conditioner. I took one last photo of the fast friends in their window before the installation. Today, June 22, is officially the latest we have ever waited to put an air conditioner in.
