South Stack Lighthouse

SUNDAY

A drive over to Anglesey for a short break. We are staying in Trearddur Bay and this afternoon ventured up to nearby South Stack.

Unfortunately the weather took a turn for the worse with heavy rain and a stiff onshore breeze. As a result the lighthouse island was closed to the public on safety grounds so we headed to the RSPB cafe for a coffee and scone.

The rain stopped late afternoon so, after dinner at the hotel, we headed back at 9:45 pm to catch the last of the sun.
