Blink And You Will Miss It

I hate 'grab shots' ...they are rarely very successful.

I was watching the sparrows this morning, they always make me smile. These two landed side by side on the feeder and were gone in an instant. My attempt to quickly capture them nearly worked but the focus is off, so I am not happy.

I am slowing down and missing things because my reactions are not so sharp and my eyes not so good.

If I had had more time I would have adjusted settings and messed around and composed the shot, and still have missed my moment.. Birds get bored with waiting while you faff about.

The only half decent shot today....

Ah well. ...there is always tomorrow........famous last words.
