Surprise

We bought a new car a while ago and were told that it should be here next week. C forgot all about that and filled our car with petrol. In order to not give a full tank of petrol away we decided to drive around this weekend.

We had breakfast at Farm Café & Shop, where Oli had an ice cream, and then took the scenic route to Potter Heigham. We were driving along merrily when the sat nav told us "ferry ahead" and there it was, a ferry over the River Yare.

We planned to go to Winterton-on-Sea for Oli to have a swim, but it was too hot and we were too tired.

On the way back we stopped for pizzas at Pizza Hut. What a palaver - one cannot order in the restaurant anymore; all had to be done on one's phone before arrival. The friendly woman at the door helped C through the process and we left with pizzas after a longer than expected wait. Now we know for next time.
