The Beaney House of Art and Knowledge

This is Canterbury's civic museum, an eclectic mix of collector's treasures, paintings and items of local interest. The original building has been expanded with a relatively modern extension, which houses the library, further exhibition rooms, and provides wheelchair access, lifts, and, to our delight, a shiny new changing place toilet. We have visited many times, but not since the start of the Covid pandemic early in 2020, so it was a pleasure to be back. Unfortunately the room J particularly wanted to visit was extremely hot and stuffy, so we didn't stay long, but we'll look forward to returning on a cooler day. Instead, J wheedled her way back to Primark to shop for pyjamas, with happy results.

This is my third back blip this evening; three more to bring me up to date.
