Josie Lawrence
I prepared food for guests coming tomorrow and worked on the Algeria book.
We drove to town to meet the daughters for an early meal at a new restaurant just opened near #3 daughter’s house. It was kind of Mexican, reasonably priced but either very chilli hot or with no flavour and a bit soggy. We had a good catch up then Mr C drove us to the Quayside. We had tickets for Josie Lawrence at the theatre Nathaniel performed in.
“WHAT NEXT?
A one woman play performed by
JOSIE LAWRENCE
Created especially for Live Theatre. There is no script. Josie will make a brand-new play, right there in front of you.
No preparation, no map. Just herself, a live musician and you. She will need help to decide, what next....”
We had cabaret seats and had to produce a few lines which she incorporated into the work as she went along. There was a bit of shouting out! And lots of laughs.
The rain was heavy when we drove home. I hope Ella is dry at Scout camp. Tomorrow they have to walk back over the Pilgrims’ Way when the tide is out, with all their stuff to the bus.
