MY MY MY DEDAHLIA

HOT HOT HOT - sooo muggy last night and today, phew!!

We went into town this morning for our shopping and it was pretty busy.  We got done what needed to be done and had a catch up with people we met.  

Didn't stay outstide long, far too hot for me, even woth Factor 50 Plus on and a hat.  Then it became darker and felt a few spots of rain, nothing much.  The statioin car park was full when we got there for our paperse, I dashed out whilst Hubby hovered.  Apparently there are two Bay Walks this weekend - today's one is a big one as it's for cancer.  I hope they get over before the thunder arrives.

The roads southbound are pretty horrendous right now.  There doesn't appear to be a day go by now when isn't a crash somewhere between Junctions 31 and 34, but sometimes further, mostly around Preston.  I don't know why as the roads themselves seem ok, must just be impatient drivers I guess!!!  Makes me not go along it though.

Northbound seems OK though, so hope the motorbikers for  Dave's  Day have a good journey - it's going to be boiling for them in all their gear!!!

Will be staying put now as the roads will just be super busy, but it's OK to be stuck at home, in fact it's quite nice - no pressure to be anywhere or do anything.

This is the lovely dahlia we bought from Brooke Supplies yesterday.  Hubb has yet to put it in the garden, near the osteosperumum I though.  I just thought it was  a little unusual and rather lovely.
