Spark Museum
Bellingham is lucky to have an amazing museum of radio and electricity called the Spark Museum. Today Shelly’s blind group went there for a tour and I tagged along. We started in the spark cage room where a friend of mine who works there, Tana G, was showing off the Tesla coils and spark chambers. He asked for volunteers and I was one of four women who wanted to do it. Much fun. Tana did a great job of bringing things around for everyone to touch. After the sparks we moved on to music boxes and phonographs. We finished at the theremin area where they have three, an old original one and two more modern ones.
In the evening Shelly and I joined Stu and Judy for dinner out and a play at the Theatre Guild. It was a musical called “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder.” We were very impressed with the high quality of the performance.
