Bridge at the Ferry Terminal
Four of us played today. We met at the ferry terminal. I took most of these on the way in. But the guy on top left was on the way home. Another fellow was videoing him so of course I had to ask why. It’s for marketing and information. He’s a fireman who serves in a fire boat. A new fire boat is on its way to Bellingham from Hawaii. It’s bigger than the one we have and can shoot water 200 feet. So it can even fight shore fires if needed. It’s also going to serve as the safety boat for the Lummi Nation Stommish Water Festival later this month. I look forward to seeing it shooting water as it makes its first entrance into Bellingham Bay.
