Roof terrace and patio now fully tiled.  There's now also a roof on the storage room, but I didn't take a photo. 

Impressive temperatures around 36ºC or even more in draftless spaces during the day - still around 34ºC at 8pm tonight.  Tooooooo hot, or I am toooooo old, or both. I hear England is very hot as well - at least I have air conditioning here!

Spent an hour with the dog, a coffee and my kindle sitting on the shady patio at Anita and Dan's villa which is a 3-4 minute walk away.  Although they have gone back to Sweden they said I could use their garden to escape the turmoil at my place. It isn't the construction noise that is the main issue  so much as the dog's reaction to it, and his uncharacteristic but very real (and mutual) dislike of a couple of the workmen.  Not least for this reason, I also took Rufus to Pasa  restaurant on the seafront for an omelet at lunch time, (well I had the omelet, he had a bowl of water and a biscuit) and managed to stay away from the villa until around 2pm. 

The builders left earlier than usual around 5pm and Rufus and I enjoyed a blissfully long and quiet evening. I am very happy with the work being done - but will be happier still when it is all finished.
